HOW IT ALL BEGAN:
When I was younger I would go bowling for fun. It was a nice way to spend time with my family and friends. At the age of 8, my family made a big move from Florida to Singapore where I was first introduced to competitive bowling. My father started to play in leagues and one day he took me along. I was instantly hooked on the game. I wanted to start playing it more so my dad showed me some of the basics to help me get started. I remember being frustrated because I couldn't shoot over a 60. I would walk out of the bowling alley very disappointed but would find myself trying it all over again the next day. After some time, my dad got me my first bowling coach and I started taking lessons. I started going to lessons every week, got new bowling balls and spent more of my time on trying to improve my game.. Ever since then I am very dedicated to my training and bowling has become a big part of my life.

TRAINING:
By the time I moved to Germany, I had the basics down in bowling and started to improve my average (165-175). Wanting to go further, I started to explore other opportunities where I could get involved, such as training camps, private coaches, leagues, bowling clubs and tournaments.

I have moved back to Miami, Florida and my training consists of practicing 5-6 times a week. This includes sports pattern and house shot leagues.

MY SUPPORT NETWORK:
I have come a long way and have experienced many challenges, but honestly I wouldn't change anything. Through those experiences, I have met many great people that have inspired me to be a better bowler and person. From my various coaches to all of the other bowlers that I have met, every step of the way has taught me something new that has gotten me through difficult times in my life. I've worked with nearly 10 coaches and have had about six personal trainers and all of them have introduced me to something valuable that has been a big part in getting me to where I am today, but the main people who are by my side through this journey are my parents. They have always been involved in everything that I do and they support me in improving myself physically and mentally. My parents have dedicated so much from the beginning and I could never say thank you enough.
